EXHIBITION OF AFRICAN CONTEMPORARY ART IN YÖ GALLERIA

A unique opportunity to get acquainted with a part of the collection of 160 paintings compiled from 42 African countries in 2017-19, of which the grand old man of art Markku Valkonen states: "The largest collection of contemporary African art in Finland". The exhibition is curated by Markku Valkonen and Ilkka Pitkänen.
The paintings are not for sale, but it is possible to buy numbered poster prints and postcards. Part of the proceeds will be channeled to African artists.
In the exhibition you can also choose your three favorite works. and participate in a draw. Numbered posters will be drawn among the respondents at the end of the exhibition.
Opening Tue May 31 2022 at 6 p.m.
The exhibition is open Tue-Fri 2pm - 7pm and Sat-Sun 12 noon - 5pm.
