Sun 16.10. performance at Yö Kekri Festival at 18.00
During this workshop you will learn how to program video playback, transformation and glitch in Pure Data (PD). During the first session we will go through the basic operations in the PD environment, so we can start operating the video and audio during the second meeting. I would like you to develop a project that you can show during the third meeting, and with my help prepare it for a screening during the Yö Kekri Festival on Sunday 16.10.2022 at Yö Galleria.
The workshop is dedicated to both amateurs and professionals in music/video production and the main goal is to encourage you to start a journey into the world of programming audiovisual art.

Limited number of participants. The course is offered free of charge.
A few participants will have the opportunity to participate on-site at Yö Galleria, others will participate remotely via zoom, with the exception of the final performance with all participants preferredly present at Yö Galleria. (indicate in the registration form whether you prefer zoom or on-site)

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Robert Prakapovich - composer, sound designer, improviser and multi-instrumentalist based in Finland. Master of composition and theory of music in UMFC, author of many solo, cameral, electronic and orchestral works. His music was performed during contemporary music festivals in Poland, Belgium, Germany and Mexico. Author of theatre music, film soundtracks and many soundscapes and music tracks for other artists installations and performances.
The workshop is part of the Hybrid Art Workshop project of Yö ry.
