ALERT LIVE ART FESTIVAL

ALERT LIVE ART FESTIVAL is an international living exhibition of analogue film and video installations intertwined with a live art programme.

All events are free of charge.

 

During two weeks of ALA-festival artists will perform in the context of Expanded Cinema, Performance Art, Audio Art and Improvised Music. The programme includes Finnish and trans-cultural artists from Finland/Canada, /Netherlands, /Italy, /Japan, /Poland, /Mexico and /Russia, as well as artists from abroad: Taiwan, Switzerland, USA, Italy and Greece. The exhibition of video and film installations can be visited during gallery opening hours.

The Alert Live Art Festival will host THE AIR WE SHARE 2.0 an ongoing live art event. A round table discussion will close the festival with a theme “LIVE ART CONDITION”.

The festival is produced by Catalysti ry and organised by Marek Pluciennik. The ALERT LIVE ART FESTIVAL was possible with the kind support of Kone Foundation and Art Promotion Centre Finland.
